The idea is to design a self-standing insulated glass panel, held in place by a straight upper and lower bracket. An external double curved exterior glass-pane provides the required stiffness, while an internal regular flat glass-pane is used on the inside. For this project, the air space between glass panes is approx. 1m³ and the connections between adjacent panels are made with silicone butt joints.
